We both know how much I cherished Chariot. That was the only CD I bought in 2003. “Meaning” alone helped change me in some sorts, I think I’ve posted that entire album on here in the form of videos. I was excited when I heard news of a new album, the self-titled album you released last year. The last song you left us with before that album was ‘We Belong Together”. The song was epicness, that mixed with anxiousness I guess gave me high expectations. Maybe I was unfair, maybe there’s reason I can’t think of, whatever it must of been I gave the new CD a listen and I didn’t like it at all. I felt you strayed too far from your first one and I haven’t listened to it since (side note; in a recent interview he admitted to it. makes me more of a fan). I went back to listening to Chariot. Then today I decided to check up on you and see what’s new. I saw you have a new album coming out later this month on the 31st called Free. Saw the video of you saying you wanting to make a less produced sounding album, reminds me of Chariot. I don’t know, I clicked on the video of you doing an acoustic version of Young Love and holy batman is that song ill. I kind of feel bad I was so quick to brush it off, but I always say when it’s meant to it’ll hit you when the time is right. So I welcome your second album back to my iTunes and I’m looking forward to your next album.

I remember when we saw him live I tried to steal his watch.. we all laughed about it then.

He’s a dope producer, The North Star already proved that to everyone. He’s a dope rapper, he has my co-sign. He’s just a kid who loves music and has his own special insight and that’s such a beautiful thing. So check him out by downloading his new ep/mixtape.

I had this whole essay about how angry I am today and not knowing the reasoning behind it.  And it all went away with the push of a button. I wish a lot of things were that easy. Then again, where’s the fun in that?
