Masabumi Kikuchi or Poo Sun, depending on who you talk to, is one of my favorite Jazz Pianists. I consider this one of those rare finds that you hesitate to share but hate depriving anyone of the experience of discovering something extraordinary. I couldn’t find any of his music online so, I uploaded the song that got the most play in my iTunes.

Thank you for all the music you provided to the world. You were one of the inspirations for Sneak Chamber. I bet heaven is nice. Love and Peace.

I came across this preeminent documentary on my biggest music influence, Nick Drake. Featuring commentary from musician Paul Weller, his sister Gabriellee Drake, and others. A treat was being able to hear music from his mother Molly Drake. Part two, three, four and five after the jump.

From the great idiosyncratic illustrator Dave Stevens. I completely forgot to pre-order the Deluxe version last March. Next thing I knew it’s going for 300 on eBay. Only 3000 in publication, utterly sold out in every single store. Although there’s one place I haven’t checked out yet that I’m sure may have one. It’s the same store that told me they were getting a copy. Going to go there this weekend… I don’t know how, but damnit I am getting one before my birthday.
